Evita's Death Mask
My name is Michael Luongo, and I am considered America's Top Expert on all things Evita, maybe even considered someone a little obsessed by her.

I live part time in Buenos Aires, though my main home is New York. I have been to virtually every site associated with the famous First Lady of Argentina, even rode her husband's coffin through the streets of Buenos Aires when he was reburied in 2006.

Here in the New York Times, just before Evita goes into previews on Broadway, is my latest on the First Lady and all things Buenos Aires.  You will find two links below, one mainly for the text of the article which was the cover of the Sunday, March 11, 2012 Travel section with more history and the link to the web Interactive with photos and maps:

History and Text from March 11, 2012 - Evita's Buenos Aires:

The article and interactives cover Evita from her birth in Los Toldos to her burial in Recoleta and everything in between: Junin, Casa Rosada, San Vicente, Ciudad Evita and many other locations.

Remember July 26, 2012 is the 60th anniversary of her death.  A fantastic time to visit Buenos Aires.
